Booking Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Booking Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Stylaa mobile application and website ("App" and "Website") to book services from independent providers, including but not limited to stylists, salons, barbers, and other service providers ("Providers"). By making a booking through Stylaa, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App or Website.

2. Relationship Between Stylaa, Customers, and Providers

Stylaa provides a platform for Customers to book services with Providers but does not offer the services directly.

When you book a service, your contract is solely with the Provider. Stylaa acts only as a commercial agent for the Provider to facilitate bookings and payments.

Stylaa is not responsible for the quality of services provided by the Providers.

3. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made via the Stylaa App or Website.

Payment for services is processed via Stylaa’s payment partner, Stripe, which handles all transactions securely.

Payment is held until after the appointment is completed, at which point the Provider receives their payout, minus Stylaa’s commission and any applicable fees.

Customers must ensure payment details are correct and that sufficient funds are available to complete the transaction.

4. Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Shows

Each Provider sets their own cancellation policy, which will be displayed at the time of booking.

If a Customer cancels outside the Provider’s permitted timeframe, they may not be eligible for a refund.

If a Provider cancels a booking, Customers will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule.

Customers who fail to attend a booking without cancellation will not receive a refund.

Stylaa reserves the right to charge cancellation fees or deduct refunds from Provider balances where applicable.

5. Account Use and Security

Customers and Providers must create an account to use Stylaa’s services.

Sharing accounts among multiple Providers is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.

Providers must complete ID verification via our third-party verification partner, Shufti Pro, to ensure compliance and security.

Any fraudulent or abusive activity will result in account suspension and potential legal action.

6. Reviews and Disputes

Customers can leave honest reviews about their experience with Providers.

Negative reviews will not be removed unless they violate our content guidelines (e.g., defamatory, abusive, or false claims).

Stylaa may suspend Providers with consistently poor reviews or complaints regarding service quality.

Payment withdrawals may be placed on hold if there is an ongoing dispute or quality investigation.

Disputes should be raised via the App, and Stylaa will mediate where appropriate but is not responsible for the resolution of disputes between Customers and Providers.

7. Liability and Indemnity

Stylaa is not liable for the services provided by Providers, including any dissatisfaction, injury, damage, or loss arising from bookings made through the App.

Customers and Providers agree to indemnify Stylaa against any claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of the platform.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Stylaa reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
