Terms of Business and Services

1. Introduction

These Terms of Business and Services govern your use of the Stylaa mobile application and website ("App" and "Website") and set out the terms under which Stylaa provides access to its platform for Customers and Service Providers, including but not limited to stylists, salons, barbers, and other professionals ("Providers"). By using the Stylaa App or Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Relationship Between Stylaa, Customers, and Providers

Stylaa operates as a marketplace platform that connects Customers with independent Providers. Stylaa does not provide the services directly.

By booking a service through Stylaa, the Customer enters into a contract directly with the Provider. Stylaa acts only as a commercial agent to facilitate bookings and payments.

Stylaa is not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any services provided by the Providers.

3. Account Registration and Security

Customers and Providers must create an account to access Stylaa’s services.

Sharing accounts among multiple Providers is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.

Providers must complete ID verification via Stylaa’s security partner, Shufti Pro, for compliance and security purposes.

Stylaa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent or abusive activities.

4. Bookings and Payments

Bookings must be made exclusively through the Stylaa App or Website.

Payment for services is processed through our payment provider, Stripe, which ensures secure transactions.

Funds are held by Stylaa until after the appointment is completed, after which the Provider receives payment minus any applicable fees or commissions.

Stylaa reserves the right to deduct fees from Provider balances for any required customer refunds.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Shows

Each Provider sets their own cancellation policy, which will be displayed at the time of booking.

If a Customer cancels a booking outside of the Provider’s permitted timeframe, they may not be entitled to a refund.

If a Provider cancels a booking, the Customer will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Customers who fail to attend their appointment without prior cancellation will not be refunded.

Stylaa reserves the right to hold Provider payments in cases of disputes or quality concerns until the issue is resolved.

6. Reviews and Quality Control

Customers may leave reviews based on their experience with a Provider.

Negative reviews will not be removed unless they violate our content policies (e.g., defamatory, abusive, or false claims).

Stylaa reserves the right to suspend or remove Providers with consistently poor reviews or unresolved customer complaints.

f a Provider is under investigation for service quality issues, Stylaa may withhold payouts until a resolution is reached.

7. Service Conduct and Compliance

Providers must comply with all relevant laws and industry regulations.

Providers are prohibited from delegating or subcontracting booked services to third parties without explicit Customer consent.

Any breach of compliance may result in account suspension or termination from the platform.

8. Liability and Indemnity

Stylaa is not responsible for the services provided by independent Providers and will not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from bookings.

Customers and Providers agree to indemnify Stylaa against any claims, losses, or damages related to their use of the platform.

In cases of disputes, Stylaa may act as a mediator but is not obligated to provide resolution beyond platform policies.

9. Suspension and Termination of Accounts

Stylaa reserves the right to deactivate any Customer or Provider account that violates these terms or engages in inappropriate behaviour.

Actions that may result in account suspension include, but are not limited to:

Repeated negative reviews or complaints.

Fraudulent bookings or payment disputes.

Abuse towards Stylaa employees or other users.

Providers who share their account with unauthorised individuals will be immediately suspended.

10. Amendments to Terms

Stylaa may update these Terms of Business and Services from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after any changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Users will be notified of significant changes via email or within the App.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
